It covers the entire textile supply chain, from harvesting raw materials through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing, to labelling of finished products. The GOTS certification ensures that textiles are produced in a way that meets high environmental and social criteria, making it a symbol of excellence in the sustainable textile industry.
Our Path to Certification:
Achieving GOTS certification is not a simple process, but it’s a worthwhile investment for for William Clark & Sons as a leading Northern Irish textile manufacturer.
• Organic Fibre Production: The fibres used must be certified organic. This means they are grown without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or genetically modified organisms (GMOs).
